can you make money online from home ?
Are you tired of the endless false promises about making money online? Maybe you’ve tried dropshipping, affiliate marketing, or Amazon FBA, only to realize it’s not as easy as people make it seem. You’ve probably watched countless motivational YouTube videos promising quick cash, but the reality is often far from what’s advertised. This video is here to save you time, money, and, most importantly, to give you the honest truth about how you can genuinely make money online. Stick around until the end because I’ve got a surprise for you. Don’t worry—I’m not here to sell you anything.
Like many others, I started my online journey with a series of attempts. At first, I thought it was all about finding the “right” method. I tried selling services on Fiverr, but no one bought them. I dabbled in trading, only to lose all my money. This left me wondering, “Why isn’t this working for me?” The answer isn’t that these methods don’t work—it’s that they don’t work the same way for everyone. The truth is, most online money-making methods do work, but each comes with a learning curve and requires real commitment. The real question isn’t whether these methods produce results, but whether they’re worth your time, money, and effort. Some paths can take months or even years to generate significant income. So, the key question is: Which method can deliver real results without requiring a massive investment of time, money, and energy?
To answer this, I’ve analyzed countless options and narrowed it down to two businesses with real potential, which I’ll share with you shortly. The online world is like a jungle—everyone’s trying to sell you something, even courses that promise you’ll become a millionaire overnight by investing $1,000 in some obscure app. Crazy, right? While not all courses are worthless, the truth is, most of the information they provide can be found for free online, like on YouTube. What courses do offer is organized information and community support.
Be wary of certain buzzwords. If you hear terms like “automatic,” “passive,” “guaranteed,” “easy,” “risk-free,” or “fast,” it’s likely too good to be true. Spoiler alert: the businesses I’m about to share are not automatic or guaranteed—just kidding! Let’s dive into the first one: Kindle Publishing.
This business involves publishing books through Amazon’s KDP platform. You can promote your books using Amazon ads, Facebook ads, or Instagram ads, but these cost money. Alternatively, there’s a free option: TikTok. If you search TikTok using specific hashtags, you’ll find tons of people promoting their books on Amazon. They post 2-3 videos daily, showcasing their books and trying to create viral content. Once they find a formula that works, they replicate it. This method works well for all types of books, but it’s especially effective for journals, diaries, coloring books, and humorous books, as these have high viral potential.
Let’s say you create a book and price it at $16. That’s your net profit per sale. Now, imagine you create some TikTok content, and one of your videos hits 100K views. About 1% of viewers might buy your book—that’s 1,000 sales, earning you around $16,000. Not bad for almost no investment! Here’s a quick summary of the steps:
Create a KDP account.
Write and publish your book.
Set up a TikTok profile.
Post 2-3 videos daily.
Replicate content that goes viral.
Now, let’s move on to what I believe is the best online business: YouTube. Some channels have built loyal audiences and generated significant income with just a handful of well-researched videos. To understand YouTube’s earning potential, you need to know two key metrics:
CPM: The amount advertisers pay per 1,000 monetized views.
RPM: The actual revenue you earn per 1,000 total views.
Once you meet YouTube’s monetization requirements, you can earn money through ads on your videos. But ads aren’t the only income source. Here’s what you need to do:
Choose a niche you enjoy and that’s profitable.
Research your target audience.
Create your video—script, edit, add voiceovers, and optimize the title, description, and tags. You can do this yourself or delegate it.
Publish the video and monitor its CTR (click-through rate) and audience retention. The higher these metrics, the more YouTube will recommend your video to new viewers.
The secret to YouTube success is creating videos that people click on and watch until the end. Both Kindle Publishing and YouTube can work, but they require time and effort. Set clear income goals. If you’re looking for a side hustle to support your studies, you can handle it yourself. But if you have bigger ambitions, consider delegating tasks, as scaling often requires a team.
Remember, the road won’t be linear. You’ll face obstacles, but each challenge you overcome will teach you new skills and build your confidence. When you encounter the same problem again, you’ll know exactly how to handle it.
As promised, I’ve created a detailed file analyzing all the online businesses out there, so you can make an informed decision about which one to start. You’ll find the link in the description. Share your experiences with online businesses in the comments, and I’ll see you in the next video!
